The whole experience was wonderful! The food is amazing, the service is impeccable!! I made the reservation without specifying an occasion, it was my brothers bday and they saw me giving him a gift (though I had no idea that anyone noticed! Because it was so quick), they brought us a sorbet and a candle at the end. The service was quick and everyone was so nice! The food was AMAZING! Definitely recommend and will definitely go back!

My fiancée took me out to celebrate birthday dinner at Junoon; the food, service, and overall experience were outstanding. The four-course Prestige tasting menu was beautifully executed with standout dishes like the ghost pepper chicken tikka, tandoori octopus, shrimp moilee, and the rich shank laal maas. Every bite was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. We also appreciated the naan and sauces included with the meal; truly delicious and high-quality. The staff went above and beyond with service, including a surprise birthday sorbet that made the evening feel extra special. On top of that, the team was incredibly understanding and professional when we had an issue with cash for gratuity; they handled it with grace and made us feel comfortable. A rare and appreciated level of hospitality. Junoon has an amazing legacy as one of NYC’s first Michelin-starred Indian restaurants (holding a star for eight years) with a modern, elevated take on Indian cuisine, and the experience lives up to that reputation.

I had lunch at Junoon during my New York trip and the experience was smooth from start to finish. The drinks were presented well, especially the smoky cocktail. The starters were flavorful and had a clean, modern presentation. The dal, rice, greens and curry were well seasoned and served at the right temperature. The flavors felt balanced and nothing was overly spicy. Service was steady, polite and perfectly timed. If you want Indian food in New York that feels refined but still familiar, Junoon delivers a consistent experience.
